Fruits and Human Body
"With it(water) He produces for you corn, olives, date-palms, grapes and every kind of fruit: verily in this is a sign for those who give thought." (Quran: 16/11)
The walnut shell is like the skull of a human, both walnut and the brain have a membrane around them and the folds of a walnut resemble the appearance of a human brain . Walnut is just like a small copy of our brain. Researchers at Tufts University in Boston found walnuts reversed some signs of brain ageing in rats. Dr James Joseph states that walnuts also appear to enhance signalling within the brain. This is because the brain needs the silver ion for signalling and the silver ion is found only in walnut !
Slice a carrot and observe the similarity it has with the pattern of the iris in the eye. Carrot has a great importance for good vision. Carrots get their orange colour from a plant chemical called betacarotene, which reduces the risk of developing cataracts. The chemical also protects sight problems that that develop over the age of sixty five.
The lungs are made up of branches of airways that finish up with tiny bunches of tissue called alveoli which very much resemble bunches of grapes Eating grapes has been shown to reduce the risk of lung cancer and emphysema . Grape seeds also contain a chemical called proanthocyanidin, which appears to reduce the severity of asthma triggered by allergy.
Allah(God) said: "With it(water) He produces for you corn, olives, date-palms, grapes and every kind of fruit: verily in this is a sign for those who give thought." (Quran: 16/11).
